Stylish from head to toe they deliver a frantic mixture of traditional blues, soul, beat and r'n'b to all the smart dancers worldwide and re-create a sound which hasn't been heard since those glory days of acts like Bo Diddley, the ANIMALS, the YARDBIRDS, THEM and the SPENCER DAVIS GROUP.
Did you ever shake your tailfeather to the sound of Rock’n-Roll!? Well, here’s your chance – THE ATTENTION! - five lads, armed with their love for Rhythm&Blues, fuse their infectious beats, catchy riffs and haunting melodies into an explosive, one-of-a-kind mix, that makes you wanna shout and shimmy! These five hipsters learned their lessons in bluesy licks, soulful shouts and pumping rhythms frighteningly well. So watch out for the heatwave that is called THE ATTENTION! rolling over your town. Make sure to put on your finest pair of dancing shoes and celebrate!
Just a handful of bands like THE JAYBIRDS, THE WHAT...FOR! and THE MOVING SOUNDS were able to capture the spirit of the distinctive r'n'b sound as precise as THE ATTENTION! YOU WILL SHOUT AND SHIMMY!!!
The CD version of this album includes their whole debut-longplayer for the first time on CD as a special bonus.

THE BEATPACK
"The Time And The Pleasure" CD
SCACD 202
The BEATPACK were a bunch of scruffy mid-60s obsessed miscreants predominantly - but not exclusively - from the south-east of England, and the Hastings area in particular. They peddled a ferocious punk-tinged brand of raw, primal garage R'n'B around the UK and Europe between 1987 and 1991, recording an LP - Could You Walk On Water? - an EP and a 45 for Screaming Apple records, based in Cologne, Germany, along the way. All these recordings were produced by the legendary Billy Childish and now available for the first time on CD, including a couple of other tracks they did at the time for some compilations.
The BEATPACK came and went in a blur of cheap Dutch lager and purple Ohms. Far too raw and nasty for the buttoned-up London mod crowd, too hairy as well, and yet far too steeped in The MISSING LINKS and The (dutch) OUTSIDERS to ever make it with the last of the mohicans, the band were an anomaly. Less interested in slavishly recreating the sonic textures or the fashions of 1966, and more locked into a mood, a feeling, a vibe, they were naturally inclined to vandalism and wreckage. Think The PRETTY THINGS at the Blokker Festival in Holland. Think beer guzzled out of Chelsea boots. Think broken mike stands, guitar strings and tambourines, bruised hearts and cracked bones. Think chaos and confrontation. Putting the punk back into garage.
By 1989, the group had somehow applied sick voodoo to the usually sane mind of Ritchie from German label Screaming Apple, causing money to be deposited in an offshore account and subsequently donated to the Billy Childish Recuperation Fund for Ailing First World War Veterans. A vomit-soaked sofa later and an EP of throbbing, strutting, snarling, harp-wailin', originals was unleashed onto an unsuspecting (and fairly uncaring) world.
This was followed a year later by a 45 that saw the group mixing Gregorian monk chants with Mad Dog 20 20, Superpop instincts with throat cancer and trips to remote German castles, bedrooms, nightclubs, record stores, radio stations and service stations in a cranky ex-postal van ensued. The single hit the top spot in the Berlin charts, staying there for nineteen consecutive weeks, forcing Nirvana into second place and relegating Bryan Adams to third!
The grand finale to this tragicomedy saw the release in 1991 of an album that stole its title from a discarded Aftermath off cut, its ambition from Icarus, its sales figures from King Uszniewicz & The Uszniewicztones and, sadly, its cover from an overenthusiastic house kid with graphic design aspirations and a bag of cheap Es. The end was nigh, as psychedelic habits bred isolation and retreat. Splinter projects such as the ILL-FATED MURDERERS and HAREM flickered briefly, a final change of name to ABSOLUTELY with added Hammond organ failed to fire and they were gone.
Vanished into mist and myth, subject of sporadic Internet rumours. Beards and caves were suggested, as were English teaching, the FBI, Zen Buddhism, surfing, dog breeding, dogging, swingers club and Morris dancing. The truth is out there somewhere.
Imagine, then, the ripples on The Scene that soon spread into waves when it was announced in 2012 that the group had been found alive and well, disinterred from their care homes and given instruments again. What foolishness would follow? What hair would remain? What sounds would pour forth? Only time would tell.
Watch this space for the tale is still being told.

BIG BOBBY & THE NIGHTCAPS
"Big Bobby rocks & his nightcaps roll" LP
SCALP 118
After the success of their two monster 45s on the US label BLACK LUNG and their EP on the "Mighty Apple", the crusaders of rawk and roll mayhem are now going to conquer the whole planet with their longawaited debut-album "Big Bobby rocks & his nightcaps roll".
Hailing from Norfolk,Virginia, the band that features ex members of the M-80´S and the CANDY SNATCHERS, recorded 15 brandnew tracks for this album, which can be described best as a wild rockin' rollercoaster ride through the garages of the last four decades. Influenced by the rock'n'roll invasion of the Fifties, the teen-punk spirit of the Sixties and the aggression of the punk-rock of the Seventies, Bobby and his drunken bunch will kick ass and certainly take no prisoners.
Just imagine Jerry Lee Lewis and Jeff Conolly´s DMZ would jam with with the CYNICS and got even joined by the SWINGIN´NECKBREAKERS and you know you can expect the hell of a smokin' slab'o'wax.
THE BOOZE
"Our favourite Booze" LP
SCALP 188
Ladies and gentlemen, please let us introduce you to those five angry young men from Atlanta, Georgia, ... THE BOOZE! Known as much around town for their sharp fashion sense as for their well-crafted, mod-informed r'n'b and merseybeat, we thought that it's about time to spread the word all over the globe - THE BOOZE certainly stand out !!!
Formed in 2006, the band has already released three incredible albums, "Easybeats in modern time'', ''Straight, No Chaser" and ''Rebirth of the Cool'' and for this new longplayer we have chosen our favourites tunes from all three of them to give you an idea how truely brilliant this band really is. It's that perfect mixture of wild ravin' r'n'b, classic 60's pop, blues, soul, garage and mod beat that makes those misfit young folks so special. Genuinely disillusioned with the overall modern state of rock 'n' roll, they create music that speaks their language. And if that language is from forty-five-odd years ago, so be it.
The band offers heartbroken lyrics set to upbeat music, with drummer Shane Human peppering the songs with lively handclaps or a tambourine for percussive decoration. Their songs are catchy as hell and full of smooth guitar tones and pretty "oo-wah" harmonies. Chad Tolliver's scratchy, vocals slightly modernize the tone, but the melodic riffs from guitarists Brian Roberts and Randy Michael bring it straight back to the '60s. Picture yourself at Pandora's Box seeing the CHOCOLATE WATCHBAND fronted by Mr. Wilson Pickett, or being at The Marquee Club in the early sixties listening to the STONES and Bo Diddley and that's what you get with THE BOOZE! The blues don't lie!

THE CANARY SECT
"47 On My Mind" LP
SCALP 191
The Sect is back! Long live the Sect! Five years after the release of their astonishing debut album "Shake it, but don't break it!", the Barcelona based five-piece is back with a new collection of incredible tunes called "47 on my mind", exploring almost every side of classic 60s beat and r'n'b influenced sounds. If you have been lucky enough to enjoy their raw stage appearances at any of their amazing live shows, you're probably aware of what the Canary Sect is capable of. If not, put the needle on the record and prepare yourself for the Sect's wild maximum rhythm'n'beat !!! These guys will certainly let the mods dance and the rockers roll. When Manuel Navarro decided to form the CANRAY SECT in Barcelona in the spring of 2003 to keep the spirit of truly authentic rhythm’n’blues alive, he never thought that this band would soon become the hottest beat sensation Europe has to offer these days.
The CANARY SECT combine the essences of traditional UK mid-sixties r’n’b, made famous by bands like the WHO, the DOWNLINER SECT, the SMALL FACES, the PRETTY THINGS and the BIRDS and the classic US soul and blues brilliance of legends like Howlin’ Wolf, Ray Charles and John Lee Hooker and come up with a whole set of new hip-shakin’ beat monsters, recorded and produced at Circo Perrotti studios in Gijon by the ‘wizzard of fuzz’, Jorge ‘Dr.Explosion’ Munoz. Driven by the wailin’ harmonica of singer Manuel Navarro, the five-piece that consists of (ex)-members of some of the finest spanish garage-bands of the past 20 years, such as LOS NEGATIVOS, LES CACTUS, the BORN LOSERS and LOS WALKYSONS will be seen in action at an all-nighter near you shortly.
Just listen to their incredibe version of the old DOWNLINERS SECT raver 'Roses' and the stompin' beat of the furious 'Ain't got no time' and you know what we're talking about. It will make you shiver, like it did when we first heard it. The album includes guest appearances by Jorge "Dr.Explosion" Munoz on bongos and Parsley on organ.

THE CRIMSON SHADOWS
"Nightmares/It's too late" 7"
SCAP 078
After successfully managing to escape a hospital for the musically insane they’re back! Jens and Måns from the original Crimson Shadows has teamed up with fellow madmen Indy and Ulf, to once again spread the gospel according to Orgh The Caveman. Caught by the Fuzz many years ago these guys are still getting the best and biggest kicks in a parallell universe known as "the basement" – the uncharted area in the mind where the deepest and darkest caveman truths are buried. Pure instinct and hunger.
These two songs are brand new recordings of vintage Crimson Shadows songs, written a coupla decades back and then some. 'Nightmares' was originally included on a coupla comps, but even though the original version has a great desperate quality to it and some cool fuzz, it is marred by a lame harmonica solo. It even says ‘guitar solo’ on the original text sheet. Anyway, this is finally rectified and now the song sounds closer to what was intended when it was once written. Manic, fuzzed out and paranoid acid punk.
'It’s Too Late' exists on an old rehearsal tape from ’86 and was never recorded in a studio. It still hasn’t been recorded in a studio, as we decided to just set up and record this 45 in the basement where we rehearse! But this time we mixed it aswell. The version presented here is very close to the old one, except we went completely out of our heads during the rave-up.
There’s been many requests for The Crimson Shadows to reunite over the years, but it’s always felt impossible. Finally Jens and Måns just tossed the doubts overboard, forgot about the original members who are still locked up in that hospital, and just went with it. Indy is an exile Texan living in Stockholm since 15 years and a rock’n’roller to the bone. Ulf is the greatest sloppy drummer you’ll ever hear or see. On good days he’s the drummer for The Dee Rangers, and then when it gets a bit crazy he finds himself in the company of The Crimson Shadows. With these guys in the line-up the sound and the vibe of The Crimson Shadows is brought back from the grave once again!

THE DAHLMANNS
"All Dahled Up" LP
SCALP 194
OK! Let's set the record straight. "All Dahled Up" is the best pop album 2011 has to offer! So, what we're talking about is catchy as hell power-pop with a fat, rockin' guitar sound, well executed vocal-lines, ridin'-on-the-waves drums and a crunchy punk feel to it. It simply makes you feel good!
That band that includes members of the mighty pop meisters, the YUM YUMS sounds like the perfect mixture of the before mentioned, the RAMONES and the always wonderful PRIMITIVES.
Just read what Lindsay Hutton, founder of the legendary magazine The NEXT BIG THING and collaborator in MOJO and SOUNDS has to say about these guys and you'll know that there aren't any excuses for not buying this album straight away!!
"What was the tagline on the movie poster for Ghostbusters again? Oh yeah – "They’re here to save the world". Well, that could also be applied to the debut by Norwegian popbusters, The Dahlmanns.
After two EPs, "All Dahled Up" contains 12 effervescent nuggets that mine the entire history of stellar power punk glam rock’n’rollin’ to create a guaranteed show stopper. The sheer joy of the poptastic crunch that crackles throughout is the sonic equivalent of a case of red bull (other energy drinks are available). So named because Dahlmann is the actual surname of the two folks that put this game in motion, André and Line assembled a like-minded crew of extended family to make this historic recording – Otto, Pål, Stine and Sebastian all took upon the family crest (ala Ramone) in order that the most fun you’ll hear all year - until their next - could be captured on whatever you call whatever used to be tape these days.
I could gibber for pages and make comparisons to the effect that if you like this – blah – but I won’t. Today I discovered that a very dear friend has never seen "It's A Wonderful Life" and I’d compare this album to that film because it’ll make you hoot and it’ll move you to tears. Sometimes both at once and let me tell you, it’s no mean feat to make me hoot whilst tearing up. These are mighty frequencies and I openly admit that I’m still speechless when these riffs hit my cerebellum.
As for the lyrics – Line had never written songs before this project happened and what she came up with is like Ellie Greenwich scripting photo stories that you’d see in girl’s comics crossed with John Holmstrom’s Punk magazine. So, in wrapping this bumf up – "All Dahled Up" has made me believe in the outright power of music to make this fucked up planet a better place. They have the same seismic abilities to pull it off live too. I have witnessed this force of nature first hand and duly testify to that fact - so help me whoever. I "heart" The Dahlmanns and if you have a rock’n’roll ticker then you will too. "Every chord, every wah-ah-hoo, every tambourine shake" – just sublime."

SCACD 171
Oooops! The titans of european beatdom are back!!! This fantastic Swedish/UK band are already back with a brand new album. The last album, "Five Spanish Minutes" (Screaming Apple) was released in late 2005 and gained a massive response all over the globe. The album was voted "garage-album of the year" in several magazines and web sites. Since then, the band has played lotsa garage/beat festivals all over Europe, consistently wowing audiences with superb high-energy performances, solidifying the band's reputation as a must-catch live act.
Now it's time to write a new chapter in the book of rock'n'roll! 12 new songs were recorded in Gijón, Spain, last year together with Jorge Explosion at his studio, Circo Perrotti. The songs, all originals, vary from organ-dominated 60's garage-beat, hip shakin' instrumentals, beatstomping soul-winners to classic guitardriven powerpop. The songs are written with powerful hooks and the album is chock-full of timeless rock'n'roll! Think, Booker T & The MG's meet the Kinks in a fight over instruments/ beers/ girls!

THE DEE RANGERS
"Five Spanish Minutes" CD
SCACD 163
THE DEE RANGERS, titans of the european beatdom and the one & only band with members living in Stockholm & London have finally returned with a new album. “Five spanish minutes” is a swingin’ masterpiece of organ dominated garage-punk, that will keep your mouth open for quite a while and your feet moving 'til it hurts.
After two albums on the legendary White Jazz label, one self-released full-length CD and 45s on some of the coolest companies around, such as Estrus, Rockin' Bones and Munster, recording sessions at the famous Toe Rag Studios with Mr. Don CRAINE of the 60's UK rhythm'n'blues legends, THE DOWNLINER SECT and various tours through the whole of Europe, the band is now ready to conquer the universe with their bonecrunching, hip-shake a-GoGo 60's garagebeat!
Farfisa driven by none other than fab Parsley (SOLAR FLARES, BRISTOLS), axe swinging by Mr.Sideburn galore Nicke & rumbling bass by the smartest part of the band, Johnny Elfstroem, this is a 12 track mayhem of loud, fantastic produced garage rumble, recorded in Spain this time by skirt wearing garage tornado and chief doctor Jorge DR. "EXPLOSION Munoz". If you dig bands like THE CREEPS, THE MAGGOTS, THE SONICS or THE STROLLERS, well this platter is a must for yer stereo! And with Per Nystroem (the babybrother of Anna of the legendary STOMACH MOUTHS) they got a hell of a singer now! Watch out for more, these guys are the best!
THE DEL SHAPIROS
"Sangre Con Tomate"
SCACD 208
THE DEL SHAPIROS hail from Sevilla, Spain and deliver the latest MUST-HAVE record from SCREAMING APPLE. As you probably know, every record from SCREAMING APPLE is A-1 dynamite and this DEL SHAPIROS LP "Sangre Con Tomate" is no exception.
Do you… appreciate the more tuneful end of the R&B spectrum? This record is for you!
…dig the rougher side of straight-up Beat? This record is for you!
…fancy a record that gets yer toes a-tappin’ and yer shoulders a-twitchin’? This record is for you!
THE DEL SHAPIROS have packed 11 great original tunes into this here platter. And by "tunes" I ain’t kidding – these are some of the finest original R&Beat numbers to float through my Whig in quite a while! Armed with these great originals, the boys packed up the van and headed to Gijon to record at the esteemed Estudios Circo Perrotti where, with the brilliant assistance of Jorge Explosion’s keen ears and highly skilled nob-twiddlin’ (girls, take note!), they hunkered down to create this here migh-tee fine platter.
If you like THE KAISERS, THE KINKS and THE MILKSHAKES (and who doesn’t???...Seriously, who doesn’t?...cuz them might be fightin’ words, bub!), then you definitely NEED this record! THE DELS somehow manage to walk that same tightrope of precision playing while maintaining a sense of abandon and the results are thrilling and exciting!
I also hear similarities to LOS SHAKERS, LOS MOCKERS and other top flight Spanish beat groups. The boys’ older brothers acknowledge the new breed with guest appearances by Russ Wilkens (MILKSHAKES) and Esteban Hirschfild (LOS MOCKERS), which is an honor any combo would be proud of.
So, whattaya waitin’ for? This footlong blastable is both FUN and SMART and will be a welcome addition to yer next rug-cuttin’ affair!

THE ELEMENT 79
"My love" 7"
SCAP 039
These days you have to look hard for a real garage outfit, who captures the true teen-punk spirit of the sixties, without offering us a bunch of recordings, which were made with a mic sticking in somebodys ass. This here is the real thing!
Three mad caveteens from Colorado play the most primitive garage-punk you´ve heard in quite some time. Four teenage anthems in the tradition of bands like the ALARM CLOCKS, CRIMSON SHADOWS or GRAVEDIGGER V. Sadly the band has split up a few years ago, but look out for singer Michael Daboll's new outfit, the DOWN-N-OUTS, which has just started where the ELEMENT 79 stopped.
THEE FINE LINES
"Set you straight" - LP
SCALP 169
Straight outta Springfield, Missouri USA (yep, that’s right, Springfield Missouri!) it's THEE FINE LINES!! Playing their first show on Halloween of 2001, the ripple effect left modsters across the country wondering just what just blew their pants off! They sharpened their teeth on Billy Childish concoctions, and formed something phenomenal…
Their songs are a perfect mix of love-turned-sour lyrics and "I-gotta-do-the-Pony!" beats… so whether you just broke up with that good-for-nothin ex of yours, or your friends came over for a dance party, THEE FINE LINES will indeed satisfy!
2004 saw the release of the widely popular Self-Titled full length out on Licorice Tree Records, hitting top ten lists across the globe, and deemed "Record of the Year" on Billy Kelly's Teenage Wasteland radio show on WFMU outta New Yawk.
The year 2005 brought another astonishing release, the "Looking Everywhere" 7" 4 song ep. Quickly becoming your favorite rock and roll band of all time, Thee Fine Lines will seek you out in your home town, drag you into the street and beat you silly with some of the best 3 chord rave ups you ever wanted to hear.
In the great year of 2006 Thee Fine Lines were featured at the Primitive 3 festival in Rotterdam Holland with other noteworthy bands such as The Cynics and Thee Mighty Caesars! This little trip over the pond also included a show at the infamous Dirty Water club in London, England! THEE FINE LINES are now ready to offer the world some more of their wild garage/beat-punk mayhem with their brandnew album "Set you straight".

THE FLASHCUBES
”Brilliant!” LP
SCALP 152
Just imagine: a dynamic rock'n'roll band, combining the most captivating elements of the mid-60´s British Invasion and the late 70´s new wave, occupying a really cool DMZ between the WHO, the HOLLIES, the ROMANTICS and the RAMONES, playing live shows that convince you that you´ve witnessed the most exciting rockin´pop combo on the whole friggin´planet, and making records that fully cature the giddy thrill of those live shows. Now imagine that all started 25 years ago, and you never even heard of the band responsible - until now.
The band is the FLASHCUBES – the great lost power-pop group of the 70´s, an act now rightly referred to as “legendary” by pundits who know what they´re talking about. And now, the FLASHCUBES are back, with a brandnew studio album with the selfdescriptive title “Brilliant!”. The band started in 1977 in Syracuse, NY recorded just two singles, including one of thee power-pop classics “Christi girl” and sadly broke up in 1980. Through the years their legend grew and by the early 90´s more people had heard of the FLASHCUBES than had ever actually heard them. When RHINO RECORDS included “Christi girl” on a power-pop retrospective called “Come out and play”, the FLASHCUBES decided it was time to live up to their legend.
The band released a CD anthology called “Bright lights” in 1997 and hit the road again and played in New York City, Boston, Los Angeles and even Japan, where they recorded an amazing live document called “Raw power-pop – Live in Japan” which was released later on AIR MAIL RECORDINGS. The album shows the band as energetic and invigorating as they were when they used to share the stage with the RAMONES, the JAM, the RUNAWAYS, the ROMANTICS and the POLICE. That point is brought home with “Brilliant!”, the first real studio album of the FLASHCUBES´long brilliant career.
Bursting out 12 new original tunes, “Brilliant!” makes the case that not only were the FLASHCUBES one of the greatest power-pop groups to make the scene in the late 70´s, they´re still one of the very best around. An opening cover of the EDDIE & THE HOT RODS classics “Do anything you wanna do” serves as both a statement of intent and a gauntlet thrown. Who could resist such a powerful call to arms? Who would wanna resist? Brilliant. Legendary. The FLASHCUBES rule again.
THE FREAKS OF NATURE
"Songs For Savages" LP
SCALP 205
Welcome to the insane world of America's newest fuzz-punk sensation, THE FREAKS OF NATURE!!!
Do you remember the music of the 60's? Neither do we. Come check out their explosive brand of proto punk ka-pow! Then go tell all the hippie zombies there was more to 60's music than a big wet fart called Woodstock.
Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona the FREAKS OF NATURE were formed way back in 2012 before the world ended, just for the fun of it.
As the band's charismatic front man, Daniel applies his arsenal of exuberant vocal antics as well as guitar and harmonica playing. Inspired by his love for wild sixties garage punk, his song writing perfectly captures all the angst of teen oppression.
Steve has a sordid history of guitar abuse leaning heavily toward 60's garage mayhem. Once he even cleaned Bob Welsh's carpet! He also has been known to build fuzz and distortion boxes when the mood strikes him.
James has more musical talent in his pinkie than most record stores have in their entire inventory. Although he can play any instrument he wants, his profound bass lines have been known to make hard core jazzbo's weep with joy.
David's musical resume reads like a history of Phoenix's punk rock royalty. His aggressive drum style has been described as "Gene Krupa with brass knuckles". His all around cheerful sense of sarcastic humor make him the perfect timekeeper for The Freaks Of Nature.
Within mere moments of forming, the buzz on the street was that these guys played some amazingly savage classic garage punk and roll. With all the swagger of a three legged dog, the boys have left a trail of throbbing insoles, confused grins and blown minds from one side of Phoenix to the other. Come to a Freak's gig and see for yourself what all the noise is about!
Mixing the original "Back From the Grave" sound of bands like THE ALARM CLOCKS, THE TAMRONS, THE HUMANS and THE ILLUSIONS with the snotty mid-eighties teen-beat brilliance of bands like the TELL TALE HEARTS, THE GRAVEDIGGER V and THE PANDORAS, THE FREAKS OF NATURE open the next chapter in the yet unfinished bible of FUZZZZZZ !!!
Music for savages !!!

THE KNEEJERK REACTIONS
"The Electrifying Sounds Of ..." CD
SCACD 181
Introducing England's newest, soon to be legendary rhythm, beat & garage combo and their astonishing debut album release. Super rough, tough, raw & wild freaked out blastin’ mid 60s style RnB all the way!
The album features 12 original compositions from the fair hand of band leader Sir Bald Diddley (Guitar/Vocals). Joining Sir Bald (aka Hipbone Slim) is the one and only Bruce ‘Bash’ Brand on drums. Bruce has walloped skins for many lauded beat, rhythm n punk combos (Milkshakes, Headcoats, Holly Golightly, Masonics, etc.) and even played with Link Wray, The Pretty Things and The Downliners Sect! Gez Gerrard plays bass guitar, blows blues harmonica and adds backing/harmony vocals. Nass Bouzida (Big Boss Man, The Bongolian) guests on organ.
The band is inspired by, amongst others,… Pretty Things, Kinks, Downliners Sect, Them, Birds, Stones, Yardbirds, Sorrows, Small Faces, Outsiders, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Link Wray, Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Sonics, Wailers, Larry & the Bluenotes and the Remains. Recorded entirely in glorious mono at London’s vintage Gizzard Studios by ex Toe Rag engineer, Ed Deegan, ‘The Electrifying Sounds Of...’ is arguably the best British beat album since the original invasion days!!! Loaded with grab-your-throat guitar riffs, snarling vocals, wailing harp, and much maraca shaking, the album is proper raw-as-you-like freakbeat, fresh as a 1965 Shel Talmy produced single.

LES TERRIBLES
"Quelque chose comme ça" LP
SCALP 196
They did it again! The french ambassadors of the yéyé beat return with their third album "Quelque chose comme ça"! So, are you ready for an amazing 60's dance party? Well, don't forget to bring this platter to the DJ!
LES TERRIBLES deliver an incredible mix of 60's garage-punk & big-beat shouters and give all of you Beatkeller-dwellers an excuse to dust off your winklepickers and give your mojo a workout! The band that includes members of THE NO TALENTS, LES SYNAPSES, DUTRONC, CECILIA UND DIE SAUERKRAUTS & OPERATION S goes back to the sound of the French Beat & Roll when it was bitten by the Big Bad British Bug back in 1965.
Imagine how THEM, THE SMALL FACES, THE YARDBIRDS or the early STONES would’ve sound if they were from France, never turned professionals and Van Morrison, Keith Relf or Mike Jagger were chicks. All the songs are in French, with that glamorous 'mademoiselle' accent! The band could've been described best as the great french sixties rock band that should have existed but never did. Owing to cultural impediments and lame business practices, there were very few outstanding french rockers from that period. Ronnie Bird, Larry Greco, and a dozen others you've never heard of: LES TERRIBLES cover them all, and every song makes you wanna dance.
The band rounds out their set with some originals, as well as their own french versions of some great foreign songs that never got adapted before, all done with a perfect ear for the style. Fronted by the charming and talented chanteuse Rudie this hard-working orchestre delivers the groove that gets the dance floor moving to the Swim, the Jerk, and the Hully-Gully. Les Terribles are sur scene ! (Jon Dragueur)

THE MALLRATS
"Fall in love all over again with" LP/CD
SCALP/CD 146
The MALLRATS are a hook laden power-pop trio from Sacramento, California. The band formed in late 2000 with Adam Miller on bass, Ted Angel on guitar, vocals and Mickie Rat on drums. Seventeen year old boywonder, Steele Strella later replaced Mickie solidifying the bands sound.
Armed with Rickenbacker guitars and Vox amps, the MALLRATS play infectious power-pop influenced by the JAM, the BUZZCOCKS, Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, Mr.T.EXPERIENCE and of course, the DECIBELS. They have already gained a loyal following in their hometown of Sacramento, which is now extending to the Bay Area and the rest of California and they will certainly conquer Europe with the release of their debut-album too. They have also found success on the internet, recently ranking in the top ten in the power-pop charts on mp3.com
This past winter the MALLRATS went into the studio with the amazing Bart Thurber (ODD NUMBERS, WORKIN´STIFFS, HI-FIVES) and cameout with this full length's worth of super cool sounding, catchy as hell tunes, affectionately called "Fall in love all over again with" Youth, energy and the ability to write great songs makes them one of the brightest new stars in power-pop heaven. Listen and fallin love all over again with the MALLRATS.
MARK & THE SPIES
"S/T" CD
SCACD 172
In times where the packaging, the number of different color pressings, the most limited circulation and the crapiest sound seems to be more important than the ability to write a great, simple and dead catchy tune, MARK & THE SPIES enter the scene to prove all you self-appointed rock’n’roll experts wrong, with their awesome blend of pure crystalline 60’s pop and classic garage-beat. MARK & THE SPIES, these new sixties beat hitmakers, hailing from a damned little village called Veenendaal in the Netherlands.
They started out as a rock’n’roll trio, only having a few vocal songs, but mostly instrumental Link Wray kinda stuff. After some gigs they broke up, reunited and broke up again. After that Mark (bass/vocals) and Arjan (guitar/vocals) started writing songs of their own. They found themselves a new drummer (Gerrit), a keyboard/saxophone player (Jelle) and things got finally pushed in the right direction. At the beginning of 2007 their first official release saw the light of day, a 7” EP on the Spanish label Butterfly Records and people all around the globe immediately started to rave about it.
“Their tunes will stick in your brain...FOREVER!!!” – Lutz, Soundflat Mailorder
“Doing a pure '60's pop punk confection through a Vox Tonebender so perfect that Barry Tashian would be proud (and pissed)...” – Cavestomp
“These guys are great!” – Wort 89.9 FM USA
Because of their enthusiasm, energetic live performances and irresistible charms, these four guys are becoming more and more popular. They’ve already shared bills with some legendary names such as The MONSTERS and The FUZZTONES. Plans are being made to play in Spain, Germany and the USA. Their debut album contains 10 original songs and one José Feliciano cover called ‘If I Really Bug You’. It was recorded by ‘the legendary king of vintage recording’ EJ Kloosterboer at the Atomic Sound Farm Studio. Their main influences are The BEATLES, The REMAINS, Motown, Simon & Garfunkel, Link Wray, The MOTIONS, Thee CYBERMEN and the ZOMBIES, so you can imagine that most of their songs are filled with great melodies, heavenly harmonies and up-tempo beats. Yessiree boys and girls! It’s here! The long awaited second album by Mark & the Spies! The album, entitled 'Give Me A Look', is once again recorded by the legendary E.J. “I’ve got my mono working” Kloosterboer and filled with great jangling guitar-pop with a delicious sixties sauce.

THE MEDIA WHORES
"Master of pop hits" CD
SCACD 145
The Media Whores are a powerpop band that likes to rock. Comprising the pop elements of The Who, Elvis Costello, and The Clash, together with the rock elements of The Beat and The Plimsouls, this group aspires to the lofty Cheap Trick brand of high energy Pop... and damn the torpedoes! THE NEDERBIETELS
"On my mind/Where to run" 7"
SCAP 072
The Nederbietels hail from world’s largest portal town: Rotterdam, Holland. They are fine purveyors of raw European beat music and that garagey Nederbiet from Holland. The four Nederbietels are veteran teenagers who have been around in vintage rock’n’roll for two decades. The Herring Fab Four is made up out of (ex-)members of The Perverts, The Apemen and The Ragtime Wranglers. They dress in white provo-style, very hip but certainly not hippie.
The sound of The Nederbietels is enriched with the vocal harmonies of The Everly Brothers, the crudeness of Q65 and The Outsiders, the skill of The Easybeats, the humour of The Beatles and the demented authentic wildman stage behaviour of The Who. The Nederbietels can easily compete with the five top beat bands since the day Brian Jones died, as you can hear on their three releases, the 45RPM 7” four song EP Can't You See on their own Klootzak Records, their 7” single Kejje Nagaan on Tear It Up Records and their brand new single released on Screaming Apple Records by their neighbours from the East featuring On My Mind b/w Where To Run. The two new tracks have been recorded in the North Spanish vintage recording studio Circo Perrotti. Where To Run is a killer Nederbiet classic, originally performed by The Haigs. On My Mind is the very first finished song that was written by Dave don Porro since the demise of his former group The Perverts. This 45 is an absolute winner!
The Nederbietels have turned into a highly gathered top combo in the transworld sixties garage-beat scene. Their performances at worldwide renowned clubs andfestivals like Crossfire! London, Beat Fever - Verona, Margate Modweekender and Primitive! - Rotterdam have fuelled that reputation. The Nederbietels appeared on major Dutch television and were broadcasted live on Spanish National Radio. The handsome foursome can be seen on the famous Euro Ye-Ye Festival this summer in the north of Spain sharing the bill with the legendary Yardbirds! They also play in a traditional Spanish bullfighters' arena on a festival in Medina del Campo. Later this year The Nederbietels will be backing the infamous Monoman Jeff Conolly as occasional Lyres for a European tour.

THE NEUMANS
"S/T" LP
SCALP 204
Like what, me worry? Not The Neumans, that's for sure! The hottest act on the scene today, The Neumans are the latest in a long line of superb garage punk groups from Southern California. They are proud and worthy heirs to the throne held at various times by the likes of The Unclaimed, The Tell-Tale Hearts, The Pandoras and The Gravedigger V.
I have had the pleasure of seeing the Neumans twice in person and can’t wait to get back to California for more! Some of you won’t have to travel that far since they are scheduled to tour later this year, which includes a visit to Europe. We feature them regularly on the Fringe Factory Radio Show and I think I need to stock up on spare copies of their records for when our current stack is played out! Their initial release, a three song EP, has sold-out through two pressings and they have been thrilling packed sweaty clubs filled with caveteens of all ages across the region with their Occam’s Razor less-is-more fuzz-n-Farfisa approach, fueled by Vox, natch.
In May of 2013, they were even given the honor of appearing at the Ugly Things 30th Anniversary Weekender in San Diego, sharing the stage with Johnny Echols, Mark Lindsey and Gelnn Campbell (from the Misunderstood). Those are some heavy names to be rubbing shoulders with! The Neumans and their luscious manes have also been featured in all the biggest teen zines, including a feature in Bananas #8.
Let's meet this wyld and wooly gang:
Rex Beaton and his 10 pounds of hair, handles lead vocals most of the time. His VOX powered thundering bass lines and lurid screams send shivers down the spines of all the wahines within range. Just don’t loan him your fur vest, whatever you do!
Billie Telephone is Rex’s rhythm section mate. His cavemannish good looks and charming smile bely his true savage nature. He is a real wild man on stage, pounding the skins as if he’s a long-lost descendent of Viv Prince!
Mick Jaguar's parents knew what they were doing when they bestowed the suave moniker on the Neuman’s debonaire lead guitarist. Usually found in suit and tie, even at the pool, his VOX-on-VOX fuzz will hit you like an electric screwdriver to the brain and you’ll want to stick your head right INSIDE his amp to get a closer listen. He also handles lead vocals on several numbers.
Brian Martinez provides bigger than life lead vocals and harp on several numbers and his red VOX Teardrop provides the swinging rhythm guitar that keeps the crowd dancing all night long. His quiet demeanor gives way as the night progresses to reveal the true savage beast of the Neumans!
Gravel Beaton provides the Farfisa for the group’s trademark fuzz-n-Farfisa sound. She is the groups true beauty and on stage she dances up a storm behind the keys and her backing vocals will have you shouting out YEAH YEAH YEAH along with her!
The Pandoras were once described as having melted down their Seeds, Standells and Music Machine records and injecting them right into their veins. One might say the same about the Neumans, but add the likes of The Gruesomes, The Cynics, The Sick Rose and The Crimson Shadows to that vinyl cocktail you begin to get the picture. This record is perfectly distilled 200 Proof garage punk, but the Neumans are not merely Kopy Kats. They’ve come up with 12 of their own nuggets to add to the pebble pile.
Drop the needle into the groove of side one of this groovy little platter, turn the hi-fi all the way up and you’ll be doing the frug, jerk and stomp to the point where your neighbours will be singing and shouting along with you!
The hits include:
I Don't Mind – Grounded on a blistering and unrelenting pounding fuzz riff, Rex plainly states his indifference to his love’s sometimes indifference cuz he needs her love so bad and then the band goes on a rave up that culminates in a scream by Rex that rivals Michael Kastelic in the annals of Self-Induced Brain Hemorrhage!!
Gimme Your Love – Mick takes a turn at the mic and DEMANDS your love and, you know what? You wanna give it to him!! And after that blistering red-blooded solo, the rest of are ready to as well!
Dark Are the Shadows – Gabby takes lead vocals with Brian and Mick in this moody exploration of the darkest corners of the back shelf of your mynd. Everyone has their own dark shadows….just keep yers to yerself if you know what’d good for ya! DIG?
The Neuman’s debut and self-titled LP on Screaming Apple Records, garners the rarely earned maximum Five Kleenex Boxes rating on the Psnot Pscale. Don't delay and order today!

NEWTOWN ANIMALS
Is your radio active? LP
SCALP141
It's a shame, really that the notorious late 7t's punkband the DEAD BOYS have already permanently claimed the title "young, loud & snotty", because really, it is the best possible description for Screaming Apple's latest, the NEW TOWN ANIMALS.
Based outta Vancouver, Canada and often buried under piles of vintage punk vinyl, the NEW TOWN ANIMALS are about youthful discovery of a sound many of us weren't around to enjoy the first time. NTA influences include relative punk obscurities like the BUZZCOCKS, BOYS and the REZILLOS. It's been said that they are like a "junior SMUGGLERS", but they really have a much more vintage late 7t's Brit-punk sound and for once that ain't a fake "punk" accent! Nick, the lead singer is originally from England. They were formed in 1998 from the ashes of punk-rockbands GRAVE MISTAKE and SPLEEN by Nick, Steve (bass) and Alex (giutar) in the suburbs of Vancouver. One year later, Chucky (drums) from JETSET and Jeffy (guitar) joined the group to create Vancouvers latest young rock'n'roll tornado.
As could be guessed, their live shows are pure punk-rock thunder as proven by their performances with the FORGOTTEN REBELS, BRIEFS, SUPERSUCKERS, MURDER CITY DEVILS, MAKERS & THE SMUGGLERS. This is their debut-album and it's licenced from mighty MINT RECORDS. It includes one bonus track and a different cover artwork. Already a classic!

"Crystalline creations and pop sensations" LP
SCALP 131
At last here´s the longawaited lifesign of those norwegian power-pop'n'rollers who got famous under the name THE BASEMENT BRATS. Well, to be precise it just 50% of the BRATS plus two youngsters from Halden City, where norwegian rock'n'roll history was written a few years ago with the release of two classic albums, "Tales from the basement" and "Bratbeat".
The NUGGETS continue exactly where the BRATS stopped. Concentrating on writing super catchy, but highly energetic pop-tunes with a sharp punk edge and the spirit of the sixties hanging all over it, this fourpiece has taken the only logical development a band coming from the classic "Bratbeat" school could go to record such a brilliant album like "Crystalline creations and pop sensations".
This album should attract all sorts of people, from the sixties-freaks to the punk-rocker and of course all the power-poppers worldwide. It's not lame pop-music, it's not hard-hittin' punk, it's not authentic sixties stuff, it's just a little piece of all the essential ingrediences of rock'n'roll mixed together to a refreshing and super delicious cocktail of swingin' good-time music for all you real gourmets out there.
THE PERSIAN RUGS
"St.Peters Infirmary/What's a girl supposed to do?" 7"
SCAP 074
The year ends with a big BANG!!! We're more than proud to announce the first european release by the incredible PERSIAN RUGS from Australia!
What is it you might ask, that makes the whole Screaming Apple staff go bananas about this record? The answer is easy. It takes us back to the glory days of rock'n'roll in the early eighties when one of the most important australian bands of all time was formed, the HOODOO GURUS. And these guys (Dave Faulkner, Brad Shepherd and Mark Kingsmill, this time assisted by ex CRUSADERS and THURSTON HOWLERS bassplayer Kendall James to be precise) are sailing the seven seas of r'n'r during the past few years under 'false colors' by the name of the PERSIAN RUGS to unashamedly live out their predilection for the puristic teen-beat of the swingin' sixties.
Both songs on this 7" single are documents of this mania and belong without any doubt to the very best the international garagepunk guild was able to offer in 2008. Get invited to a real fuzz-o-rama where swirlin' farfisa sounds dominating the scene. This record is a true must-have for all fans of the GURUS and of course for all friends of the prehistoric caveman-stomp of bands like the early FUZZTONES, GRUESOMES, CHOCOLATE WATCHBAND and MUSIC MACHINE. Be a guru and listen to the stoneage romeos!
THE PHANTOM KEYS
"The Real Sounds Of..." LP/CD
SCALP 193/SCACD 193
Ever since we first heard of these five angry young men from Spain, we badly wanted them to be part of the “Screaming Apple Family” and now we’re more than happy and honoured to present their amazing debut album “The Real Sounds Of” as a big favour to all you kiddies out there, who still dig that crazy cavemen beat of the swingin’ sixties.
The PHANTOM KEYS story starts a few years back in a small Galician coastal town (O Grove) when a bunch of hairy teenage weirdos try to emulate the looks and sounds of those ‘no hit wonders’ who made it onto all the obscure 60’s punk compilations, such as “Nuggets”, “Pebbles” and “Back from The Grave”. Very soon they became wellknown all over the country for their wylde & sweaty live appearances and were ready to record their first vinyl release for the way cool EL BEASTO record label. The result was the fantastic “Velvet illusions/In the summertime” 7” single, a true little masterpiece of authentic 60’s garage-punk, which turned out to be a great succes all over the globe and brought them the offers to play all the great places in Spain and Europe, some festivals in Italy and the U.K. and even the invitation to rock the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool…Yeah!
After some lineup changes the PHANTOM KEYS decided to go for a more rhythm’n’blues oriented sound in the tradition of bands like the PRETTY THINGS, DOWNLINERS SECT, TELL TALE HEARTS and WYLDE MAMMOTHS, but still keeping up the good ole garage-punk spirit they got famous for and recorded their second 45, “Shut up Johnny / I want to be free”, which got sold out in almost no time, … just like the first one!!
Now, after having played countless memorable shows all across Europe with some of the best bands around, such as The SONICS, The OUTSIDERS, the LYRES and the FUZZTONES and being part of big garage-punk extravaganzas like Le Beat Bespoke and Primitive Fest, the PHANTOM KEYS are ready to present their first album. “The Real Sounds Of” is a hot, smokin’ platter of pure sixties-punk flavoured rhythm’n’blues and proves once again impressively that the PHANTOM KEYS are one of the biggest sensations on the scene today, still being the same bunch of crazy weirdos they were in the beginning.
Now comb your hair, iron your best suits and dresses, polish your boots and get ready to do the hip shake!! SCREAMING APPLE gives you …The Real Sounds of THE PHANTOM KEYS!!! A raw, unadulterated teenbeat mayhem!!!

THE POWER-CHORDS
"... think I'm gonna" LP
SCALP 175
"If you stretch your memory far enough, you can probably remember a time when "pop" was still a three-letter word. Before TRL and Ryan Seacrest and teen actresses-turned-singers, pop was actually a legitimate art form. For the members of Chula Vista, California, band The Power-Chords, it still is. And if it isn't, that's your problem. These guys take pride in stuffing 10 pounds of melodies into a 5-pound bag. In fact, from the sound of their debut single, "Unattached Strings" (out November 7 on Mean Buzz Records), these guys eat, sleep and breathe pop hooks.
"We don't like to stray too far from the rock and roll pop song format because it's a common language, although we try to twist it a bit by throwing in a weird chord here or there", says singer/guitarist Jon Hammer. "But let’s face it, the kids today need some energy, the kind of energy that was being exerted in the late ’70s, as exemplified by bands like the Clash and the Ramones, punk bands that started playing fast. The Buzzcocks are revolutionary for essentially making 'pop-punk' long before it was a generic term for modern commercial-radio punk music."
What makes the music of The Power-Chords so striking is the band's ability to channel the grimy, blood-and-piss-soaked anarchy of ’77-era punk through the solid song structure of influences like the Rolling Stones, the Beatles and the Zombies. The result is something of an anomaly in the punk world – music that sounds as wild and carefree and couldn’t-give-less-of-a-shit as The Queers, but is bound tightly with thought-out chord changes and melody lines so sweet they could give you a cavity. It’s simple and smart, rebellious while proudly adhering to traditional form.
The name "The Power-Chords" couldn't be more, or less, ironic. In the band's short career, The Power-Chords have already raised eyebrows up and down the west coast. The boys have been nominated for a San Diego music awards in each of their three years together. But as their music suggests, winning accolades is hardly the goal for The Power-Chords. "For me, playing shows to people exited for our music is the highlight", says bassist Craig Barclift. "It’s a great feeling to see someone going crazy for the music that you’re playing."
"Nothing can touch the fact that a few kids have told us that we gave them hope in music today," Hammer says proudly. As The Power-Chords prove on their debut release, there is hope indeed. 12 simply amazing power-pop-punk pearls speak for themself. "... think I'm a gonna" is a true must have for all friends of euphoric, two minutes pop anthems and fans of bands like THE BUZZCOCKS, UNDERTONES and ADVERTS.

THE REAL BAD NEWS
"Black & White & Red All Over"
LP SCALP 157
Here's the latest and greatest thing to come out of Sacramento since I don't know what. It's this mystery band called THE REAL BAD NEWS with their debut album "Black & White & Red All Over". This act, which reminds us so much of the legendary UNTAMED YOUTH, can really lay down the 60s frat thing with a lot of feeling and guts. They were discovered by Deke Dickerson while they opened for him in California's capital city. Give a listen - it's straight forward rock'n'roll with a decided bent toward the pre-BEATLES sixties (just dig all that glorious organ and tenor saophone). And man, they even have their own theme song. Not much is known about the band, but if you listen to the brilliant vocals, you seem to hear Deke Dickerson singing. Hmm, is there maybe even a closer contact between him and the band, than we all thought?! Who knows. Fact is, that the album got engineered and produced by Deke Dickerson and that he's written the liner notes too, so let's listen to what he´s saying about them.
"In the last couple of years, "garage rock" has made the headline with such acts as the WHITE STROKES. I haven't really taken a fancy to any of these bands, personally. To me, they just don't have any HEART or any SOUL. I had just about given up on this "garage rock" phenomenon until that fateful night at Old Ironsides in Sacramento, California, when a band called THE REAL BAD NEWS open up for me. These guys were awesome! They were a real garage band, but they weren't a cookie-cutter-cover band like those 80s Vox Wig TM bands. They wrote great original songs, like "We're the Bad News", "Don't get me wrong" and "Cast the fist stone". And when they did do a cover, they would take a great song like Ray Charles' "Leave my woman alone" and turn it into a raving garage classic. The even took Faron Young's country classic "Hello walls" and made it into a RIVIERAS-style organ frat pounder! These guys are geniuses! I decided to take this group of miscreants into the studio, to claim their own slice of the"garage rock" pie. If those guys don't hit it big, I'll eat my hat! They have all the necessary ingredients - Nate Forrets's excellent singing, Henry Dantill's blazing guitar work, Leo Sutter's harmonies and solid rhythm guitar and of course the secret weapon, the "cuteness factor" of Billy "the Kid" Lakeson that is sure to make these guys the next HANSON. I'm telling you, these guys cannot miss! Any band who writes a song about Krispy Kreme donuts are kings in my book. I hope that you feel the same way." So you can clearly see, Deke Dickerson is mad about these guys, and I'm sure if he would not have been in the UNTAMED YOUTH, he would try to join them. A true trademark of quality this certainly is!

THE RIVIERA PLAYBOYS
"Ambassadors of rock'n'roll" LP/CD
SCALP/SCACD 160
It's time to introduce you to the new ambassadors of rock'n'roll and believe us, we're talking about the real thing! Here comes this band that has captured the musical phenomenon which came creeping out of millions of garages from the late 50's to the mid 60's and carries it forward into today's dreary world of lame mainstream rock and inedible lo-fi bullshit.
Calling Rochester, New York their home, THE RIVIERA PLAYBOYS represent the epitome of a new breed of 60's garage rock'n'roll combos. The band that includes ex members of THE CHESTERFIELD KINGS, THE PROJECTILES, THE INSIDERS and SUSAN & THE SURFTONES delivers timeless music that has a powerfully menacing quality, and is best described in their own words as "raw, electrified r'n'r!". Driven by fuzz & reverb drenched guitars and wailin' organ sounds, all their songs got this distinctive primal approach, but the music still has this veritable melodic content and amazing vocal harmonies. They guide us through their wonderful own little musical world, a place where you can still find those primitive garage-punk rituals done by prehistoric cavemen banging big rocks together, a place where people still wiggle to the classic sixties beat, a place where the beauty of twangin' folk sounds is still respected, a place where people don't have to be ashamed to be devoted to traditional r'n'r.
If you can't get enough of all the "pebbles" and "nuggets" from the roaring 60's and you adore the early CHESTERFIELD KINGS and the MAHARAJAS, you certainly don't wanna live without this masterpiece of the "ambassadors of rock'n'roll", the mighty RIVIERA PLAYBOYS!
THE ROYAL HANGMEN
"S/T" CD
SCACD 198
Are you ready for another wylde garage-punk extravaganza?
Do you fancy some hip-shakin’ 60’s Beat, too?
Or maybe, you just wanna dance ecstatically, shout and scream in frenzy?
Rightly so, then we certainly can help you out with the first long-playing record by Switzerland’s one and only kingly renowned garage band - THE ROYAL HANGMEN. The album contains 11 self-penned songs, full of tempestuous and raw energy, with plenty of hooklines, verve and style. Songs that are soaked with a sixties spirit, but were made in the here and now. It’s all in there: fuzz-guitars, VOX organs, snarling vocals, throbbing bass and rattling drums – always short, tight and efficient. And that’s exactly how the odd garage record should sound. Their self-titled debut was painstakingly produced by David Langhard (aka Admiral James T.) with much love for the detail and with heavy use of analogue equipment.
Hailing from Zurich, THE ROYAL HANGMEN started eight years ago to proclaim the gospel of garage rock. First a simple cover-band, they soon found their own style and tunes and finally some attention amongst the international 60’s/retro scene. Their first 45 single Mary Jane was released back in 2009 on Greek label Lost In Tyme. Lots of concerts in France and native Switzerland followed thereafter, culminating in a support slot for the mighty SONICS.
It took them some time to record their first proper album, but it was definitely worth the wait. So get on your go-go boots, put that marvellous wax on the turntable and shake your hips to the driving Turn Me On, the frantic Mary Jane, the melodic She’s Gone or Get Out Of My Way and all the other smashing tracks on this record, until you reach the final comedown with the moody, psychedelic “Wake Up”. What a trip. If you go bananas listening to bands like the SHADOWS OF KNIGHT, the ZAKARY THAKS, the BAD SEEDS, the CYNICS and the STAGGERS, this one’s for you babe!
It’s fab! It’s groovy - It’s THE ROYAL HANGMEN!
Now - exclusively on Screaming Apple Records (Germany)

THE SCUMBUGS
"Bugging out with ..." LP
SCALP 206
BUZZFUELED INSECT RIOT ROCK AND ROLL! STRICTLY FOR DANCING OR BUGGING OUT YOUR SQUARE-ASS NEIGHBOURS.
These five, fly-faced primates hail from a dirty basement smack in the middle of Bergen, Norway. And they only have one agenda: make you stop, stare, stomp your feet, spill your beer and leave you with a permanent buzz ringing in your ear. The Scumbugs play straight forward fuzz and organ driven garagepunk, spiced up with some wailing harmonica and demented lyrics. Top that off with a bucket of earworm hooks designed to stick in your brain and destroy your frontal lobe. Cause this is primitive instinct rock and roll, catchy and infectious.
Based on pure passion, joy and aggression with no room whatsoever for intellectual stimulation. These flies have been on the wall of all the "BACK FROM THE GRAVE" and "TEENAGE SHUTDOWN" recordings, sucking it all up to spew out their own brand in 2015.
If you imagine THE MIRACLE WORKERS and THE BRANDED… both in a fight with THE CYNICS, or SUPERCHARGER in a one-off recording session with THE MUMMIES and you get an idea what these scary insects are gonna infect you with.
"Bugging out with…" is their first longplayer, presenting 12 homemade nuggets reeking of the budget rock, no hit protopunk and raunchy r’n’b that the band was born and bred on. This is a platter for the permanent party, so don’t cheat yourself by missing out. Prehistoric sounds from the caves of Norway. A must have for the wild and outrageous music lover. Yabba Dabba Dooh!

THE SMUGGLERS
"Mutinity In Stereo" LP
SCALP 155
Welcome to the wild world of the Smugglers. Whether it be playing smoky clubs around the world, releasing countless slabs of hot wax on only the finest international indie labels, or churning out hilarity in their infamous on-line tour diaries, the Smugglers have but one goal: TO ENTERTAIN.
From Vancouver, BC Canada, The Smugglers are one of the longest lasting, most energized and entertaining bands to ever burst from their beloved frozen north. Forming back in 1988, Canada’s greatest ambassadors of rock'n'roll music weren't supposed to make it out of their parents' basement, let alone into the twenty first century, but here they are, ready to rock and never stop. The Smugglers formed at Hillside Secondary School in West Vancouver, BC, Canada. Heavily under the influence of Black Label beer, hashish, and the raw rock'n'roll sounds of the Sonics, the Cramps and the Stones, the five teenagers were dubbed "The Smugglers" by their high school buddy Nardwuar The Human Serviette.
From their ugly beginnings in church basements, malls and warehouses opening for heroes like the Gruesomes and NoMeansNo, the band slowly grew up to weld their influences of great punk and rock'n'roll into a wildly energetic show all their own. The Smugglers took their sweat, suits and boots on the road and, a decade and a half later, continue to tour to every pocket of North America, as well as sojourns into the uncharted wilds of Japan, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
The Smugglers live show is a legendary tour de force of energy and charisma, involving wild antics and audience participation with such now-beloved stunts as the dance contest (complete with a trophy to the winner - over 500 given out in more than twenty different countries), kissing contests, and Smugglers "dream dates". Over their adventurous career, The Smugglers have bounced from label to label, always independent, including Vancouver’s Nardwuar Records, Seattle’s PopLlama Products, and Vancouver’s Mint Records. From Mint, the Smugglers have licensed records around the world to such labels as Berkeley, California’s Lookout Records, Tokyo’s 1+2 Records, Australia’s Corduroy Records and Spain’s Imposible Records.
All tolled, the Smugglers have amassed a mighty eight full length albums and several singles, EPs and compilation tracks worth of loud and snotty vinyl and CDs. The Smugglers have always been lucky enough to work with great producers including Conrad Uno ("At Marineland" 1991, "Atlanta Whiskey Flats" 1992, "In The Hall Of Fame" 1993, "Wet Pants Club" 1994), Mass Giorgini ("Selling The Sizzle" 1996) and Kurt Bloch ("Buddy Holly Convention" 1997, "Growing Up Smuggler" 1998, "Rosie" 2000). “Mutiny In Stereo”, The Smugglers latest record, is self-produced and is their best yet! It's the return of ambassadors of love, the uncrowned canadian party kings and one of the very best live bands on this planet. Hallelujah! Good time music for the whole family. Enjoy!

THE SUGAR STEMS
"Can’t wait" LP
SCALP 197
Could there be a title more suitable for a new record by our beloved SUGAR STEMS than "Can't Wait"? This is exactly how most of us - i.e. people with a soft spot for a well-crafted, non-pretentious pop-song - felt constantly while we have been eagerly awaiting a new album by Milwaukee's finest. Granted, there have been two singles released on Certified PR a little earlier this year which ripped every powerpop-aficionado apart, but in a cultural realm that is filled with flavorless white bread, possibly not even a SUGAR STEMS single could fill your belly. So we digested that charmingly poppy gems pretty soon and have been hungry for more of their artistic handcraft since.
And here we are, the probably best contemporary powerpop-outfit once again has put superhuman power in its creative genius and will hit your taste with a hit load of bullets, each and everyone of which would make up for a potential single's a-side and chart-stormer if this was a better world. Shout it from the top of a roof, The Wisconsin Sugar Rush rampants without restraint; it will get you hooked on an overall buzzing sound and insanely catchy vocals as sweet as cotton candy, on pumping basslines and cracking drums – driven by a firecracker lead guitar. Their sound is enriched with tons of brilliant melodies and euphoric harmonies to the maximum; Drew and Betsy's two-part singing chimes together as perfectly as you might expect from a band that we put faith in as the saving grace of rock'n'roll. And by rock'n'roll I mean that kind of music that you feel familiar with, that you hear for the first time and wish you had listen to while growing up. Certainly, it would have carried you through all the hardships as well as all the emotional high points of adolescence.
Weeping yourself to sleep, giving your first love a peck, waiting for the bus on a sunny September day – THE SUGAR STEMS deliver the proper soundtrack for any romanticized image of teenage, but still they should not and cannot be reducible to the naive idea of bubblegummy, empty pop-suit bought off the peg. It's the serious approach to a feel-good-sound that is alive in the here and now, that will make you wanna canoodle your beloved no matter what age you are, and, above all, that stood the test of time. They are like a bubblegum that would never lose its taste, they are the re-embodiment of twangy, infectious Midwest-powerpop soaked in deliriously sweet melodies, they epitomize the glory your favorite '50s and '60s nuggets established decades ago, they deliver lyrics that oscillate between edgy, sneering smartness and lovelorn rhapsody and which are of a kind that everybody can relate to. Yet again, to put it in one term, the SUGAR STEMS are splendid! Big time! You will dig this record, unless you are a Martian. Well, perhaps even most Martians will dig "Can't Wait".
Dear SUGAR STEMS, if your music was a house, I'd live in it.
Yours truly,
Matti Bildt

SUZY & LOS QUATTRO
"Stick with it" LP
SCALP 178
"Ever wondered what The Dictators crossed with The Records with Brenda Lee singing might sound like? Well, you stopped by the right place. These guys ain't dealing in nostalgia. This album features future classics that could actually please all of the people all of the time".
This above is an excerpt from the liner notes on Suzy & Los Quattro's new album, "Stick With It" (WPR/Screaming Apple 2008), penned by Lindsay Hutton, founder of the legendary magazine The Next Big Thing and collaborator in MOJO or SOUNDS.
"Stick With It" is a great step forward in the band's career, proving they can beat any obstacle after two years of line-up changes. Now working as a four-piece, the band plans an extensive tour that will take them to 9 different countries. Musically speaking, the band sticks to their magic formula of catchy pop songs fuelled by crunchy guitars, you only have to listen to Crazy On The Phone or Because Of You to realize they still have it when it comes to writing immediate hits. But something has changed, this time the production and arrangements are taken up a notch, without losing a grip on punkpop.
This time Suzy & Los Quattro have broadened their horizons to a lot of the sounds they worship so much as die-hard music fans. H.A.T.E! is soaked wet in glam, winking an eye to bands like The Sweet, Slade and featuring some guitars likely to remind you of "Billion Dollar Babies" by Alice Cooper. Too Late will get your feet on the dance-floor like the disco Blondie did in the 70's and The Sounds have done recently. But Suzy & Los Quattro don't forget their 60's pop heritage, penning the beautiful ballad Maybe I'm Wrong, that would surely make Phil Spector proud with two pianos, strings and horns playing under Suzy Chain's voice, shining through every track of this album like never before.
Of course they didn't miss their date with new-wave in cuts like Go On, which might remind you of Baby Let's Twist with Chrissie Hynde on lead vocals. And for the more straight-forward crowd, tracks like Comeback Superstar will please the surfers and Rock Boys (dig those harmonies!) will do it for the rock'n'rollers. Special mention to Donna Donna, an amazing track with one of the catchiest choruses ever, dedicated to Donna, a rescue dog that recently became part of the Quattro-Chain family, and that will be linked to animal rights camapaigns. And watch out for the ending, Henry Rollins, easily the best proof of a new level of versatility the band has reached. A fully a capella track done exclusively with Suzy and B.B. Quattro's vocals and dedicated to the tough and muscled DC singer.
This album consolidates all the things that Suzy & Los Quattro promised on their first album, "Ready To Go!" (2004), which got rave reviews and was licensed in Germany and Japan. During 2005 they embarked on their 2 week Japanese "Lipstick To Japan Tour", which confirmed their "pop idol" status in the land of rising sun, selling out two nights in Tokyo and receiving an almost beatlesque warm welcome.
You can see it for yourself on their Lipstick To Japan video here

This tour was followed by a compilation of all their singles, "The Singles" (2006), a record that kept them on the road again, playing two times at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool, where John Otway from the BBC included their show on his top 10 of the festival (out of 150 bands on the bill!). So for any Ramones / Blondie / Beach Boys / Raspberries fan, here's your new favourite band!

THE THANES
"Downbeat & folked up" CD
SCACD 147
We here at the S.A. headquarters are so damned proud to present the brandnew album of the scotish beat legends the THANES, we can't hardly find the right words for it.
The THANES have be around since 1987 and certainly belong to the very few really important bands of today's garage and beat scene. Hailingfrom Edinburgh, they have released tons of records on the coolest labels around, such as SUNDAZED, CORDUROY, MISTY LANE, LARSEN and DISTORTIONS to name but a few.
With their new LP "Downbeat and Folked Up", The THANES are once more travelling the distance, or be that as it may, staying the same (that means remaining true to themselves) while constantly changing, and, fortunately for us, they seem to be getting better all the time. The THANES of this ultra-modern age conjure up ever more new and always interesting twists and turns from their basic garage band vision. The line-upfor the past several years remains unchanged: Lenny Helsing - guitar & leadvocal, Mal Kergan - bass guitar & vocal, Angus McPake - organ & guitar, and Mike Goodwin - drums. On "Downbeat and Folked Up" the general terrain appears familiar, yet somehow the sounds from within are coming over clearer and stronger than before.
They are extending their collective antennae, reaching but further, sometimes bringing a new reaffirmation of a deeperfolk-rock stance with evocative vocal harmonies and a jangling 12-string: towit there are covers by Bob Dylan, and The Beau Brummels, played out with trueheart and soul. A few choice examples of the group's mega-fixation with groups that existed in Holland thirty-odd years ago have also been selected for inclusion. One of the best is their interpretation of "I'm A Fool" originally performed by The Sandy Coast. Stomping and gyrating is also encouraged with original beat-style creations such as "It Can Never Be", "The Next One", and the furious buzz of the LP opener "That's The Story Of Your Life". No other current band is able to combine all these musical elements of the sixties insuch a perfect way. Recorded atthe famous TOE RAG Studios in London with Mr. Liam Watson behind the mixingdesk, "Downbeat & folked up" is masterpiece of modern beat musicand will not just take the hearts of all the sixties-devotees by storm. One hell of an album!
THE THURSTON HOWLERS
"Lodge Party" LP
SCALP 142
Is your bag a swingin' lifestyle? Do ya' dig brain splittin' reverb fracas? Or even the menacing mindbending tones of fuzz and grind? Do you partake in stompin' booze-soaked topless-a-go-go-frat house debauchery? Then it's time to get introduced to those fez wearing australian party kings, called the THURSTON HOWLERS, who finally come up with their debut-album "Lodge Party".
Extremely influenced by the North West sound of the WAILERS, KINGSMEN and SONICS, this record is a classic mix of early 6t's frat-rock, wylde garage-punk and swingin' instrumentals. The THURSTON HOWLERS are some kinda australian "garage all-star" team, including members of the CRUSADERS, HEKAWIS, FINKERS and INTERNATIONAL PLAYBOYS.
This is a perfect dance record with great girlie backups by the lovely MARYANNES, which should keep every party swinging. For all those who miss FORTUNE & MALTESE. Let's have a martini.
TOWERBROWN
"Count me out" CD
SCACD 201
TOWERBROWN, founders of the "rhythm'n'blues organisation" and one of the leading suppliers of the big, fat Hammond beat return with a bang! Four years and two sold out 45s ("Let's Paint It Brown" and "I Wanna Know") after they first started, the french foursome will finally release their debut-album "Count me out" this late summer.
Heavily influenced by american r'n'b and soul, british beat and the wylde and weird Hammond organ jerk, the four frenchies invite you to a journey through time back to the Swingin' London era of the sixties. Their authentic Hammond drenched rhythm n' blues made them one of the highly gathered top combos of today's transworld sixties garage-beat scene, which their performances at worldwide renowned clubs and festivals where they shared stages with bands like the MORLOCKS, the MESSER CHUPS, ALICE RUSSELL, The LOVE ME NOTS, THEE OH SEES, The A-BONES, DC FONTANA and The CYNICS prove impressively.
"Count me out" is a groovy little masterpiece of classic 60's beat in the tradition of bands like the SMALL FACES, the ARTWOODS, the SPENCER DAVIS GROUP, THEM and BRIAN AUGER. 10 Tracks of pure hipshakin' entertainment, combining the very best of traditional blue eyed soul, r'n'b, freakbeat, instrumental spy sounds and of course yéyé beat, that will certainly not just take the hearts of the international 60s Garage/Mod/Soul scene by storm. Let's have a martini!

TV IDOLS
"17, desperate and all messed up" LP
SCALP 135
Do you remember the PHANTOM RATS? These guys have put out some of the most impressive punk'n'roll platters of the nineties and together with bands like TEENGENERATE & the 5,6,7,8s they were responsible for the beginning of the japanese rock'n'roll invasion in America and Europe. Unfortunately they broke up in 1997, but singer, songwriter and guitar player Kazand drummer Tetsu couldn't do without playing and formed this new and even stronger outfit called the TV IDOLS.
17, desperate and all messed up is their debut albumand it's the hell of a record. While the PHAMTOM RATS had a strong rock'n'roll influence, the TV IDOLS are more fixed on late 7t's, earlyeighties US punk, like the DEAD BOYS and the early REPLACEMENTS. Great songs, catchy hooks, a hard edged guitar sound and a real driving rhythmsection, that describes the TV IDOLS sound best. 12 powerful and energetic punk-rock anthems including covers of the DEAD BOYS and the RICH KIDS make thisrecord one of the punkin' highlights of the new millennium.
THE TWISTAROOS
"Twisted!" LP
SCALP 189
OK! Let's set the record straight. It's the YUM YUMS which become THE TWISTAROOS when they're getting a little tired of doing that good old bubblegum/power-pop thing, starting to play soulful rhythm'n'blues and rock'n'roll, kinda like the DETROIT COBRAS and the FLESHTONES, so you know that you need to have this record anyway!!!
THE TWISTAROOS was conceived one late night at Sin City, a bar in one of the more shady areas of Moss, Norway. The atmosphere was irresponsibly high whipped up by way too many cocktails. The primitive, seductive rythms of garage rock, soul and rocknroll had long ago turned the dance floor to a vipers nest of transpiration exchanging sinners, and it was then the slender singer Ms Goodvibe sporting an outrageously short hemline and an advanced intoxication wiggled up against the no less animated guitar player Morty Mortaroo for the occation impeccably dressed in shirt tails ever so wild and with a multi colored lamp shade on his head.
Let's start a dance band, she said, licking her blood red lips. You know, not disco or anything, but the dirty kind that makes things move down below! She looked hopefully into his eyes while finishing yet another double Sin City Cocktail Delight. Seconds earlier Mortaroo had ruled the dance floor, juggling a myriad of young beauties, and it didnt take long before the immortal sounds of Louie Louie appeared in his head: Dadada-Dada-Dadada-Dada Yupp, he knew exactly what she was talking about, so he pushed the lamp shade back with an affirmative blink of the eye: Dance band - you got it! No sooner said than done Otto Gamstaroo, a well known to the music police in Moss, was brought on board as drummer.
Der Gamster is a guy who treats his drums as he treats the men who gets in his way, he beats the hell out of them with a Bo Diddley beat. I brought a bass player, Otto said when the band was to make their debut show. He pointed towards a shady-looking gentleman at the end of the bar, already halfway through a stiff drink. This was not to be the last time Otto brought along a friend from the rhythm section circle in town. It was easier that way. They came, did their job, got paid and left. No names no conversation. THE TWISTAROOS will do anything for money. They play weddings, birthdays, funerals, births. All kinds of parties! So book them now; they have expensive habits and need the cash!

THE WILDEBEESTS
"Annie get your gnu," LP
SCALP 167
Look out, here come those Wildebeests again with a whole new bunch of tunes to make you the listener perk up and take heed. Whether it be 'rivvum and bloos', 'tank pok', 'instro-mental larkabout', or 'skewed sick-stays styled beat-noise', these Lairds can KO with the best of them, fuck it, let's make with the fact that The Wildebeests, the band that features (ex)-members of the MILKSHAKES, KAISERS and THANES, can knock any and all others off the blocks anyday, anywhere, and at anytime.
After a pile of single, EP and album releases on Norton Records, Sympathy For The Record Industry and Smartguy Records in the US the Wildebeests have returned to Germany and Screaming Apple (who coincidently released their first single way back in 1995) to release this the groups 4th long-player and has taken many a long long while to arrive (often thought to have been lost in the peat bogs deep in the Tripe valley) and for that you have not to thank the efforts of the 3 goons who, heretoforeandthereafter, should be referred to as the artists, but for the efforts of record company blunders and problemos reaching near and far across the desert-scapes of days, nights, weeks, nay months I say, bouncing here and there almost resulting in a veritable record label tennis! The Lairds of the Boss Racket themselves had almost given up hope of this LP ever seeing the needle of a record player...
Holy gnu, its years now since the artists first threw this lot of rumbling artefacts onto magnetic tape after at the very least 3 long minutes of rehearsal and preparation. What could be better? Well just listen to the dim simplicity of 'Lucinda' and the untamed beauty of 'Your Mind' to say nothing of the wracked emotion of 'It Ain't Right' to get the measure of what these sensitive artists had to wade thru in order to bring their fans a steaming product of damn near perfection. The CD version of this new gnu-sound classic and bluesy beat-punk masterpiece will be out sometime later this spring.

THE WONTONS
"Karaoke night" 7"
SCAP 058
Dressed in ever-fashionable kung-fu uniforms, the Wontons are a rockin' power trio composed of Sifu Dean (guitar/vox), Sifu Randy (bass/vox), and Sifu Matt (drums/vox). They describe their sound as "All-You-Can-Eat Rock 'n' Roll", a buffet of fifties rock and seventies punk, served with a Chinese twist! Dean used to play in the 1-4-5s, a garage rock combo that released numerous records, and Matt is also the driving force behind Houston's Junior Varsity.
The Wontons have a 4-city Japanese tour planned in June, and a U.S. tour to follow later this year. They have put together four of their most deadly, action-packed trash-rock anthems for their Screaming Apple debut, and we guarantee that you'll be hooked onto their M.S.G.-flavored tunes after just one listen!

THE WOODY PEAKERS
"Beat solution" CD (only!!!)
SCACD 180
If you just dip deep enough into the grotto of 80’s garage-punk you’ll still find some incredible treasures of this genre which certainly need to get introduced to all you garage heads around the globe. One of these “lost jewels” are the WOODY PEAKERS from Pordenone, Italy.
The band that included members of RUNNING STREAM started in 1986 playing wild ravin’ fuzzed-out beat-punk with moody garage vibe to it and released a split 45 with a Ska-band named MAD JOKE the same year. Particularly well-known they got for their stylish look. Their mop tops and chelsea boots scared all their neighbours. After a few line-up changes they found a constant formation which played from autumn '87 until spring/summer '92.
In these years the WOODY PEAKERS were: Vetriolo (drums+vocals), Gegè (guitar+vocals), Spazzola (bass+vocals) and Ugly (organ+maraccas). 1988 they decided to record their first LP which was recorded predominantly in their rehearsal-space, a mouldy garage in the hometown Pordenone on a 4 track portable tape-machine. It was the perfect place for a garage band to record and the band loved the result. The sound was 100% authentic! The album was full of crude’n’primitive teen-punk from the 60’s, but also offered some of the most amazing moody garage-howlers you can think of.
The LP was released the same year on Vinyl Salvage Records based in Udine, as some kinda promotion for the collectors 2nd hand record shop they had just opened. 1989 garage music got “officially” buried by trendy music companies and even more trendy media people, but the WOODY PEAKERS couldn’t care less and a few months later, early 1990 they released a 4 track EP (with circulation of 500 copies) on their own Peak Records label.
They band continued playing for another year or so, but in 1992 they decided to split up. Sixteen years later Screaming Apple thought that it was about time to re-release the whole musical legacy of the band (their one and only album and their 45) for the first time on CD and even include 5! bonus tracks, which have never been put out before on one compilation.
"Beat solution" is a real classic of the late 80’s garage-punk mayhem. It offers 21 tracks of pure organ-drenched, fuzz-loaded teen-beat insanity that could’ve been easily recorded in 1966!!! Besides their stunning originals they’ve recorded a bunch of real wylde covers, such as "Writing on the wall", “Ricordarmi”, ”Blackout of Gretely” and “It’s a crying shame” to name but a few.
So if you still go mad when you fave DJ plays the LARRY & THE BLUE NOTES, the ALARM CLOCKS, the UNRELATED SEGMENTS, the SICK ROSE, the CHESTERFIELD KINGS and the MIRACLE WORKERS, you absolutely need this album! Totally limited to 500 copies only! Get it, before it’s gone … FOREVER!!!

THE Yum Yums
"... Play Good Music" LP
SCALP 200
Oh no… it's THE YUM YUMS again! The world's most famous power-pop band is back with another album! Their fourth full-length is called THE YUM YUMS …Play Good Music, and it's absolutely true! It's stacked with catchy hi-energy, guitar-driven power-pop songs, complete with sugary multi-layered harmonies and lyrics that seems to be stolen from some 12 year-old girl's diary.
Like Joss Hutton once wrote in Bucketfull Of Brains Magazine, "Let's consider the three minute pop-song for a second or two: so simple in it's construction, so inscrutable in it's perfection, so many who have tried and failed! For me the YUM YUMS have been THE band to watch over the past few years, their perfect (yep, it's true) take on the "power-pop" thang is a source of constant pleasure and amuzement".
A pretty good description that is, but what more can we say about those ambassadors of power-pop? They deliver REAL POWER-POP, with the word power written in capital letters. Putting together the essential ingrediences of the music of the RAMONES, the PLIMSOULS and the OHIO EXPRESS, the 6t's and the 7t's, bubblegum and punk, pop and rock'n'roll, just to create their very own YUMMY sound.
So, what we're talking about is extremely catchy pop-music with a fat, rockin' guitar sound, well executed vocal-lines, ridin'-on-the-waves drums and a crunchy punk feel to it. It simply makes you feel good!
Their previous album "Whatever Rhymes With Baby" took THE YUM YUMS touring through Spain, Italy, Germany, Japan and USA. This new album may even take them to Sweden!
THE YUM YUMS are:
Morten Henriksen - vocal, guitars
Vibeke Saugestad - keyboards, percussion, backing vocals
Ulf Bendiksen - drums (ex Stine & The Drunkettes, Hellride and The Tip Toppers)
Egil Stemkens - bass, backing vocals ( ex Popgun)
Gunnar Brontveit - guitar, backing vocals
